Marc,
You mentioned interest in this when you saw how I blacked out everything behind the bumper. Here is the thread I had on it:
I am going to paint my Afco heat exchanger flat black, using radiator paint. And going to re-shoot my chin spoiler with 3 coats of bumper black paint. I also will be getting some V6 rockers on the car to start a flat black lower lip theme around the car (may be in the market for a GTCS rear bumper as well later down the road).
Progress so far:

Garage is tight, need to get out there and rearrange a bit. Or just put the wifes New Edge outside for a few days.

Originally, I was going to mask off the chin spoiler, but after cleaning the bumper and the chin decided to do it the right way and remove the chin. So I took the chin spoiler off and found something important for you chin spoiler owners out there...
Check your bolts, they get loose over time!
I had 3 loose bolts, nothing serious, but if you have a chin on your car, I would definitely check them once a year.
So here is my chin, after 1.5 years of use:

Typical scrapes underneath (see picture above)

Really bad in the center. The outer edges is from me sanding it it a bit to clean it up before paint.

Notice the center, you can see where the black is darker. Thats touch up paint from a recent argument I had with a parking curb. The parking curb won!

And here it is after the first coat of Duplicolor bumper black. Its still wet. But vast improvement in my opinion.
I will hit this with 2 more coats. Then I just got to wait for the Eastwood radiator paint to arrive. The local stores didn't have it, so I had to order it from Eastwoods ebay store.
