I was looking aroung the Mustang Collective for a fast N/A 4.0 Mustang.
it looks like
<TABLE cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=6 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR align=middle><TD class=alt2 ?>boss 245 (NA) (http://www.mustangcollective.com/member.php?u=8628)</TD><TD class=alt1>05 mustang</TD><TD class=alt2>N/A</TD><TD class=alt1 ?></TD><TD class=alt2></TD><TD class=alt1 ?></TD><TD class=alt2>13.810@96.00 (13.810@96.00)</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
are there any that are faster ?

Yep, that's Chris. Here is his thread on it:

I get asked this question at least once a month so I thought I would post the most recent PM here. The following is a list of all my mods that it took to run 13.81 at the BBII last spring.

I also was wondering about the Zabteck throttle body you used. Everyone seems to use BBK and I couldn't figure out which was better... Thanks so much dude!
Well, Thanks, it was goal I really wanted to achieve. Up front though, for the money it will cost you to repicate my mods you could have a turbo on your car.
I started with a base V6, no abs or traction control, base equiptment only. shaker 500 replaced with an alpine deck
I ran 13.81 with the following bolt on parts-
Mac long tube headers
Mac off road pipes
Mac Prochamber
2 1/2" Exhaust cutouts that opened just under the back of the front seats
Powerhouse 411 alluminum driveshaft
BMR tubluar radiator support
BMR tubular K-member and A-arms, non adjustable
Hotpart camber plates
Springtech springs
C&L intake with full smoothing/polishing inside, eastwood heat reflective paint outside.
Dry filter
MAF cleaned every run
Zabetch throttle body, internally cleaned before each track day
oil seperator
Screamin demon coil
Livewires
Bosch platinum 4's-These burn up in 2 passes. use autolites
ASP underdrive crank pulley
Braile light weight race/street battery (15lbs)
T-loc
4:10's
BMR anti squat brackets
Hotpart LCA's-non adjustable
UPR on car adjustable uca
QA1 single adjustable rear shocks
T/A rear girdle
BMR panhard bar relocation bracket
hotpart adjustable panhard bar-on car adjustable
Mobil one oil and filter
New fuel filter every 20 passes
Gregweld front 3 1/2" 15" dia rims with MT sportsman radials
17" Bullet replica rears with MT ET Street slicks
Other mods
roush rear spoiler
car waxed before runs
Rear seat delete
All insulation removed from under carpet, in doors and inner quarters.
rear axle weights removed
catlytic convertor heat sheilds removed
front driveshaft loop
No spare or jack.
all upholstery removed from trunk area, including the latch cover/light
Lightweight grille from "z-grille"
cold air pipe from under grille to air box-can only do this if you have a non-ABS car.
87 octane email tune from Alternative auto for 3:73's/shortys and using 93 octane gas. Timing upped 4deg, 4deg, 2 deg. Shifts 1 through 4 upped 25%
If I think of something else I will add it.
In my opinion the Zabtech is far superior to any other.
Thanks and good luck!
Chris

Also, now that there is a 3500 rpm stall, and a few other recent performance parts, I think a 13 can be had with less mods. I know Scott (shb2007) is gunning for it, so is Austin (Stin42).
