Great job on getting the new forum up Scott. I figured I would try it out and put up some posts....

I gave Stella a quick wash last weekend and had her out joy riding. I did a quick detailing, and decided to go cruising for some new photo spots. Found some new buildings going up, so decided to try them. I really wish I could find some nice back drops.

I'm using a RebelXT, with a Quantaray 70-300mm lens. Not a great lens I think but its better than stock. I have a UV filter on it. Still trying to learn this contraption. Everything was set to AF. Feel free to comment on the photo stuff, just keep in mind I never read the manual for the camera.

Art: If you bring your car the next time we meet up I'd be happy to take a few shots of it, get you some digital pics going.

Here they are:

We may want to increase the picture limit.

Lookin' good Todd. Unfortunately I'll be wearing decals for the rest of the year that the police wont appreciate. Maybe next time I'll have the '88 road worthy.

Ah! Ok, well I will have to get some shots of your car in action at the track.

Nice, I love the stance.

Didn't you guys get snow last night? It freaking covered everything up here and with it melting it's no use washing any of the cars. I'm bummed.

No snow, I took these the day after we met at red hot and blue. People always ask me what springs I have on the car, its the stock springs. I just have 28in tires on it, 255/50/17s up front, and 275/50/17's in the back.

I also just reshot that chin spoiler in bumper black paint, and shot the heat exchanger with radiator paint.

Looks good! You car is a bit underexposed, but then getting that right would overexpose the lighter background:( Using exposure bracketing and combining them works well with the right software. HDR images combine multiple exposures of the same shot to show lots of detail you wouldn't see in a single exposure.

Thanks. What software do you use?
